Welcome to Bears Perth! 🐻

Bears Perth is Perth’s queer bear club — a warm and welcoming space for male-identifying people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and levels of hairiness — and their admirers. Whether you’re bearded or smooth, big or small, young cub or silver fox, cis or trans, you’re welcome in our bear cave.

🐾 Den Nights are the beating heart of our community, held at Loton Park Tennis Club typically on the 2nd Saturday and 4th Friday of each month. Guests who identify as male are always welcome at Den Nights and most events — just check the Events page for details.

Acknowledgment of Country

Bears Perth acknowledges the Whadjuk Noongar people as the Traditional Owners of Boorloo on which we gather near Derbal Yerrigan. We pay our respects to Noongar Elders past and present, and we recognise the enduring connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, culture, and community.

We also acknowledge and honour the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members of Bears Perth, and the strength and resilience of First Nations LGBTQIA+ peoples — Sistergirls, Brotherboys, and queer mob — whose voices and identities hold a vital place in both our club and the oldest living culture in the world.
